Our experience.

Community Consultation

Our team has led consultation on transformational projects such as Te Hā Noa / Victoria Street Linear Park, Parnell Parking Improvements, Auckland’s Climate Plan, and major cycleway initiatives. With experience across Auckland Transport, Council, and NZTA projects, we’ve engaged communities, stakeholders, iwi, and landowners to ensure meaningful input informs design and delivery.

Our team has led stakeholder engagement across major projects including the Supporting Growth Alliance, Eastern Busway, Auckland Metro Programme, and industry initiatives like BARNZ. We’ve managed community events, landowner engagement, business outreach, and government relations—often in complex, high-pressure environments. With expertise spanning transport, infrastructure, and organisational change, we ensure stakeholders are informed, involved, and supportive throughout every stage of a project.

From Auckland’s Downtown Infrastructure Programme to the ProgressAKL platform and Onewa Road T3 Consultation, we’ve shaped communications that make complex information clear and accessible. Experience spans strategy, public engagement collateral, media releases, and technical manuals for organisations including Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, and Kāinga Ora.

Digital is central to our communication and engagement work, from managing online meetings and webinars to running multi-channel social media campaigns. Experience includes public safety and brand awareness programmes for Top Energy, integrating web, video, print, radio, and social platforms to inform, engage, and build community connection.

Experience includes external communications for Vector and Top Energy, crisis support for District Health Boards during COVID-19, and ongoing corporate reporting and outage communications. Work spans spokesperson roles, media and political briefings, community updates, and production of annual reports—delivering clear, timely, and trusted information in high-profile and high-pressure environments.

Facilitation experience includes coordinating national road safety partner meetings for LTSA/LTNZ, training Police Education Officers for D.A.R.E Foundation programmes, and seven years of classroom teaching. Skilled at guiding workshops and managing sensitive conversations between stakeholders, boards, and communities.

Experience includes community consultation reports for Auckland Council, Waka Kotahi, and the Supporting Growth Alliance, along with customer insight projects for Datacom and Airdocs. Work spans survey design, data collection, analysis, and engagement summaries—turning stakeholder feedback into actionable strategies, refreshed messaging, and evidence for public hearings.
While not urban designers, our team has supported projects with strong human-centred and placemaking principles across Tāmaki Makaurau and nationally. Experience includes transport and urban projects such as Hobsonville Peninsula, Wynyard Quarter, Cornwall Park, North Shore Hospital, and the University of Auckland—helping embed people-focused design into planning and communications.

Strategic input includes advising on active transport and urban development projects at Waitākere City Council, contributing to plans for the NorthWest Shopping Centre, New Lynn TOD, and Henderson upgrade. More recently, work on the Emily Place upgrade has focused on communicating people-centred design and cultural heritage as part of Auckland Council’s ‘Access for Everyone’ plan.
